Pop Moore is a jewel to me. I grew up seeing him with his family, not realizing I would one day be a part of them.
I have observed him as a husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and for me, my father-in-law. Over these nine decades, he has been an example in all of these roles, giving of his time and service to God, his family and the family of God. His sacrifice has been great but he gives God all the glory and in return God has blessed him with long life and strength.
This musical album is in recognition of his service as a gospel musician for many, many years. He trained up many to follow his path and they honor him with their songs while he can enjoy the fruit of his labor.
This wonderful song written by one of Pop Moore’s musical sons, Pastor Ronald Parks, speaks words that truly represent the story of his life and works. We can all reminisce and think of how he has touched our life “along the way”.
